Twitter Changed favorite button to Like button

Recently twitter was already talking about changing their favorite button. Today it reflected on twitter.com.

Now you will not see this favorite button  image. It is replaced with heart shape (looks like instagram like button). Twitter calling it Like instead of favorite from now onwards. 

Here is the tweet from twitter, introducing new like button inplace of favourite button

Twitter even changed the notification. Now you will get notification :  XYZ likes Your tweet (old : XYZ favorites your tweet ). 

how to turn off autoplay videos on facebook

You might be wondering from last couple of days that videos on your facebook timeline starts playing automatically.Some times it feels annoying that unwanted videos playing on your timeline. it also use more data pack.

So to stop it follow the steps bellow.

- go to settings

 

Click On Video

select "Autoplay video" - Off

Female Team Option added in FIFA 16 : Demo is out

Demo of the popular soccer EA sport FIFA 16 is out. It is for all Xbox, PlayStation, and PC (for PC not sure ). Down load free demo for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Playstation.

The U.S. and German women's clubs are facing off in the demo.

Problem : Whatsapp images and videos not showing in galary in Android

Many of my friends complaining about my whatsapp images and videos are not showing on my gallery in Android phone. To share , delete or edit , it would be easy if images appear on the gallery. So I found the solution:

" Delete All .nomedia files"

How to delete all .nomedia files ?

• Install "ES file explorer" app on your device
• Go to internal memory 
• search for .nomedia file 
• delete all

Another way is

• connect your mobile with your PC
• open internal storage 
• search .nomedia file
• delete all

sometimes It still not work ! than in internal storage open "Android" folder. In that folder if you see .nomedia file , delete it. Go to Data folder and find .nomedia file and delete it. Restart your device if changes not reflected in Gallery.

New features coming in Android M.

Every body excited with the new name: what "M" will stand for in Android M. Any guess? Milky bite, Mango bite , you can comment your guesses  ... But the actual question is what are the new features coming in android M? Lets see one by one .

• App permissions

  you now have more control on App permissions. Users will be able to approve or deny security permissions, such as camera or location access, on a case-by-case basis. Currently, when you install an Android app, you agree to a range of permissions, such as what the app has access to. In Android M, you don't have to agree to things you don't want agree to. Instead, apps will ask permissions when you use a feature, rather than at installation.
  

• Finger Print Support 

  Is it end of PIN , Password or Pattern ??  may be . Android M coming with finger print password. So if your phone has fingerprint scan than for authentication purpose you can use it instead of password or pin . 
   

•  Andoid Pay

  Using an open API, Android Pay will be available through Android's own app, or integrated into other bank apps. Developers can use this feature for payment purpose for their app. It can be also possible that user can authenticate using FingerPrint and pay via Android pay.

• Simplified Volume Control

  In Android M , you have simplified volume control. Which allows you to control volumes of ringtones , music ,alarm etc independently.

• Improved Battery Life 

  In Android M , Google coming with new feature called Dose. It will take care of your battery life. When your mobile is not active , it will stop background processes running. It will improve your battery life twice.
  This comes with one sacrifice: apps don't stay as "fresh," meaning they won't be fully up-to-date with the latest information while your phone is dozing. That's a small price to pay for double the battery life, though.
  
   

• Chrome Custom tabs 

  It is for developers, to improve web experience. Now google chrome can be embedded with App only. So no need to go to chrom for viewing web content in any App. There will be one chrome tab in App itself will display the content. You can also use save password, cookies etc like normal browser.

Now a days lots of articles and videos on net neutrality (or save the internet) are going on on social media. Lot of people asking me what is that ??  give me answer in simple non technical words.

How to remove password from pdf document : simple and easy trick

Some time you are given a document with password protected. Each time to open with a password is headache. Sometimes you may want to forward it without password. Here are easy steps to remove password from documents.

1.  Open your pdf with chrome browser 
2. It will ask for password. Enter it
3. now press ctrl+p (to print )
4. go to destination in left bar 
5. select "save as pdf"
6. click on save button 
7. save it in your drive
8. you are done !!
   

Your password will be removed in new saved pdf file.

There are a lots of people play candy crush saga. No doubt  about the addiction of so many people about candy crush . Now to give it a fight , old giant Angry Bird (maker Rovio) Launches new game Jally Jam.

The game has been developed by Magic Tavern and published by Rovio. It is available as a free download for iOS and Android devices.

Now a days , every smart phone user by default uses a whatsapp application on their devices. The Figure s almost 700 million people are active on whatsapp. We know if we have automatic download option is checked in whatsapp, then photos and videos downloaded automatically. And those are displayed on the gallery of the phone. Anyway we can prevent it to appear whatsapp pics and videos in gallery. Follow the next steps for iphone as well as android.

• The photos and videos downloaded from whatsapp automatically displayed in gallery which most of us don't like.
• To restrict it in iphone you can go into the phone’s Settings menu, then tap ‘Privacy’, ‘Photos’, and deselect WhatsApp. For Android users it’s a little bit complicated. 
• To restrict t in Android , Using a file explorer app such as ES File Explorer, you can find WhatsApp’s ‘Images’ and ‘Videos’ folders and create a file within each called ‘.nomedia’. This will stop Android Gallery app from scanning the folder.

WhatsApp voice calling feature

Recently whatsapp has introduced their new feature voice calling in India. According to the news , The voice calling feature will be available only Invite Basis. That means if you get invite from your friend than only you will get voice calling feature. Using this feature , you can call free to your whatsapp contact list. However officially whatsapp didn't released voice calling feature. t is n testing face.

Right now it is not available in play store . You have to download .apk file from the whatsapp web and have to use it as stand alone application. According to media it will be available in WhatsApp's new build (2.11.508).

Last year whats app had announced  this feature and after that some of screenshots got leaked. The voice calling feature will bring WhatsApp in direct clash with apps like WeChat, Viber and Line that already allow users to make calls and send messages. WhatsApp is the biggest instant messaging app in the world, with 700 million active users in January 2015.

How to remove shortcut virus from pendrive

The most commom virus menace for Windows users is the shortcut virus changing all your files and folders in pendrive to shortcuts. It's a familiar problem among most college students. We have all tried to use the ineffective shortcut virus remover, a third party software, to solve the problem. But it is very simple to deal with.

1. Delete all the shortcuts from the pendrive. They can be identified by the arrow symbol in icons and having a size of less than 4kB usually.
2. Now open command prompt.
3. Go to the pendrive by typing <alphabet assigned to drive>:
4. Now enter the magic line attrib -s -h /S /D
5. Wait for some time... It's done! All your files and folders are back.

The secret behind this:
The virus only changes the folders' system attributes, makes it hidden and creates shortcuts. So by removing the shortcuts, and removing the hidden and system attributes from all files and folders, you have terminated the virus without trace!
